One of the remarkable moves in her life began when Andreina and her family decided to move from their home country of Venezuela to the roots of her dad in Palma de Mallorca in 2006. New beginnings encouraged her to continue following her heart so from there, her yoga journey was first experienced when her mom invited her to explore a local Iyengar class, indeed she remained fascinated and curious. However, the basis of her teaching began to develop when she later moved to London in 2011.
She encourages practitioners to go with the flow of body movements and mindful breathing that sooth the mind into a state of release and openness. Emphasizing the need to develop our potential through the ancient yogic system of asanas, Andreina likes to motivate the students to immerse themselves in continual learning, resulting in healthy alignments to facilitate a greater sense of physical nourishment and inner balance.
In 2016 Lisbon received her with open arms so she is now continuing her teaching journey in lovely studios across the city.
Andreina is a qualified Yoga Teacher and member of The British Wheel of Yoga. At her Teacher Training Diploma of 24 months journey (390 hours) at Triyoga in London 2015, she feels blessed and fortunate enough to have had the inspirational guidance of the masters Jean Hall and Mimi Kuo-Deemer. Also philosophy and history of yoga by Carlos Pomeda and Anatomy and Physiology by Aki Omari. She has also complemented her studies with Yoga Mindfulness to Children at Special Yoga Foundation where she feels honoured to have been guided by Jo Manuel.
